Michelle Brown, Manager of Benefit Services, and Mandie Emberson, Vice President of Northwestern Benefit recently participated in The DiJulius Group’s annual customer service summit in Cleveland, OH.
The service summit is a national customer service conference for business leaders that is hosted by author and customer experience consultant, John DiJulius. John and his team work with companies all over the country helping them create a consistent World-Class customer experience, and instill World-Class Corporate Culture internally.
John has written several books that are guideposts for the conference, such as “What’s the Secret?” and “Secret Service.” Both of these books and DVDs outline his award- winning, “X Commandments to World-Class Customer Service,” and are used at companies such as Starbucks, Nordstrom, Cheesecake Factory, Chick-fil-A, State Farm, The Melting Pot, Lexus and the Ritz-Carlton, all of which are known for their award-winning and above-and-beyond customer service.
During the 2-day conference, featured guest speakers shared their experiences, core values and training on customer service and how they are creating a culture of high service aptitude. Executive guest speakers and companies at the conference included: Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Dick Hoyt, Nemacolin Resorts, Cogneato, Direct Opinions, AVEDA Institutes, Hallmark Gold Crown, Jack Daly, Nestle USA, Smart Business Magazine, TLC Laser, National Services Group, Shep Hyken and many others.
