April Husted is an Atlanta native and a graduate of the University of South Florida. Prior to her career with Northwestern Benefit, she was a pension benefit analyst with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, at a field office in Sarasota, FL. Upon relocating to Atlanta in early 2006, she joined Northwestern Benefit Corporation as a Benefits Consultant. During her time as a Benefits Consultant, April earned her RHU (Registered Health Underwriter), REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant), and CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) Designations through the American College and the International Foundation/Wharton School of Business. Her skills and talent quickly moved her to the position of Manager of Consulting Support Services, where she had oversight of Consulting Support Services, which includes our client marketing team and process, database management, creative design services, enrollment & billing team, and account management.  She has transitioned to the role of Manager of Consulting, where she is responsible for providing strategic direction, coaching and oversight to the Northwestern Benefit small and large group consulting practice.
